Bare One’s Soul is a phone counseling service. We connect clients to licensed counselors and social workers for convenient and private counseling sessions. A client must reside in and have the counseling session from the state where the counselor is licensed.
First, select a counselor who is licensed in your state. Then click on the schedule button to get started and set up a session.
You will receive a call from Bare One’s Soul at the number you provided when you scheduled your appointment. If you should miss your call, you may either login to your account on Bareonessoul.com or click on the Call Me button provided in your appointment reminder email to receive another call.
We understand that you may be late for your appointment. We will hold your session for you, however it will impact the amount of time you have for your counseling session. For example, if you have scheduled a 30-minute session and are 10 minutes late, your remaining time with your counselor is 20 minutes.
You must cancel your appointment more than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged for the full appointment. To cancel your appointment, please click on the cancel button found on your My Appointments page in your Bare One’s Soul website account.
At this time, we do not offer a free trial.
Currently the majority of insurance providers do not provide coverage for telephone counseling. Bare One’s Soul does not currently accept insurance.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
The counselors on Bare One’s Soul are paid for the professional services that they provide to clients much like you would expect to pay your medical professional. While we don’t offer refunds for those services, if you are not satisfied with your session, we are happy to assist you with finding a new counselor on the service. Simply make that request via the Contact Us.
A session costs $45 for a half session of 25 minutes, or $90 for a full session of 50 minutes.
You and your counselor should discuss and monitor your progress. Please keep in mind that counseling is a process. While it is recommended that you sign up for multiple sessions, we cannot determine in advance how many sessions will be needed for your unique concerns.
If your appointment started late or has other technical difficulties and you did not have your full session, please contact Client Care.
Please go to our Client Care page and submit a request to apply to become a counselor.
Counselors at Bare One’s Soul have a variety of backgrounds. Some are licensed, trained, experienced, and accredited psychologists (PhD / PsyD), marriage and family therapists (MFT), clinical social workers (LCSW), or licensed professional counselors (LPC). Many of them have a Masters Degree or a Doctorate Degree in their field. They have been qualified and certified by their state professional board after successfully completing the necessary education, exams, training and practice.
